The golden oil made from its petals is often used in lotions, creams and balms. Also in the form of hydrolat, a floral water that contains all the magnificent properties of this plant, it can easily be used to soothe dermatological issues! Due to its relaxing power, this plant is used in many products for children and skin care. If you suffer from any skin or scalp problems, try taking a bath and adding calendula infusion to the bath water – let it sit for 20 minutes and rinse. Revitalizing, from the inside out!

Chamomile is one of the most loved and used plants because it is safe, gentle and effective, has powerful anti-inflammatory properties and is commonly used to treat inflamed, irritated or sensitive skin. Roman chamomile is easily found in essential oils and hydrosols. It is widely used as a hydrosol, mainly as a facial toner or to help with baby diaper changes. It is good for all skin types, but is especially suitable for sensitive skin. It is often combined with calendula and used in skincare products for children. The flowers make a wonderful rinse for light hair, adding shine when used over a period of time. Chamomile has relaxing and calming properties and so we can use it in the bath to benefit from these effects.

Caution: Some people are allergic to the Compositae family to which chamomile belongs; avoid it if you experience itchy eyes, sore throat or skin irritation.
