Eczema and Psoriasis

Eczema e Psoríase

Eczema , or atopic dermatitis, manifests itself on the skin with inflamed, red, scaly and rough patches, with itching. Sometimes, blisters or lesions that bleed may also appear.

Psoriasis is a chronic, autoimmune skin disease that is not contagious. It is associated with diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and depression. The most affected areas tend to be the elbows, knees, scalp, nails and lower back. When there is more intense inflammation of the skin, resembling a burn with intense itching, pain and an accelerated heart rate, urgent medical observation is indicated.

In the treatment of both conditions and for local application we recommend:

Colloidal oatmeal and pink clay mask, followed by toning and deep hydration . How to do it:

  • Mix a tablespoon of colloidal oatmeal and the same amount of pink clay , add water until it reaches a fluid consistency and apply to the affected areas with the help of a brush. Do not let this mixture dry completely on the skin and remove with plenty of warm water.
  • Dry the skin well with gentle movements and apply Rose and Rosemary Hydrolate , let the skin absorb this water with excellent properties.
  • Finally, you should moisturize with rosehip vegetable oil, as it will act as a moisturizer, antioxidant, healing and revitalizing agent, and stimulate cell regeneration. On days when your skin feels extremely dry, choose to moisturize with avocado butter (except for your face).

    Apply weekly until symptoms improve.

    For body or facial routine

Use a Rosemary and Clay soap for cleaning , for sensitive skin. You can use a Konjac Sponge in this process, it will allow you to remove dead cells and oil accumulated on the surface of the skin in a gentle way.

Tones (body and/or face) with Rose and Rosemary Hydrolate , and lets the skin absorb all this water.

For daily hydration, use the neutral Aloe Vera and Shea Butter Cream , massaging well until absorbed. For nighttime hydration, it is best to apply Rosehip vegetable oil (also has pro-age action) to the face and Avocado Butter to the body.

Occasionally opt for a bath and add 4 tablespoons ofColloidal Oatmeal to the tub and a dessert spoon of Rosehip vegetable oil and relax for at least 20 minutes in this synergy. Dry gently.

If possible, once a week we suggest you do a body and face exfoliation with pink clay or bamboo scrub, followed by moisturizing.

Cold weather, pollution or food allergies can make eczema worse.
